Hôpital d'Instruction Des Armées-Centre Hospitalier et Universitaire de Parakou (HIA-CHU Parakou) is a government owned hospital in Parakou, Borgou department, Benin. The facility was inaugurated on February 13, 2011 as a result of Sino-Benin cooperation and and became a university hospital in 2014. In order to achieve optimum efficiency for the well-being of Beninese, the government granted it military status but it remains open to the public. It offers a wide range of services including general medicine, occupational medicine and toxicology, obstetrics and gynecology, odontostomatology, trauma and orthopedic surgery, hepato-gastroenterology, cardiology, neurology, endocrinology, urology, dermatology, ENT surgery, medical imaging, physiotherapy, visceral surgery, general surgery and ophthalmology.
