Matete General Hospital is a hospital in the city of Kinshasa that will serve the municipality of Matete and the neighboring municipalities of Kisenso and Lemba in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The Matete General Reference Hospital was created in 1956. It was a neuropsychopathological center before becoming OMEZA in 1972, it was not until 1997 that it became an exclusively state-run institution1. In 2013 the Congolese government through its Ministry of Health in Health Program launched a project rehabilitation work on the Matete2 General Reference Hospital
