The Kissidougou Prefectural Hospital is a large reference health facility located in the city of Kissidougou in the forest region, in southern Guinea. Rebel incursions into this region from Côte d'Ivoire, Liberia and Sierra Leone have led to an increased incidence of traumatic fistula in addition to the continuous weight of obstetric fistula.
