The Ministry of Health will take responsibility for the health centres and the hospital in Bafata. Over the last three and a half years, MSF managed the neonatal and paediatric units, as well as a nutritional programme for children under five in the regional hospital of Bafata. During 2015, Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) continued working in the central region of Bafatá, managing the paediatric ward of the regional hospital.
