Hospital Immaculée ConceptionFacility

In 2011, the Immaculate Conception Hospital in Les Cayes was strengthened by the pediatrics department. Pediatrics has a reception capacity of 72 beds and the maternity 26 beds; these two pavilions are financed by the Center for the control and Disease Prevention (CDC) thus increasing the supply of health services for the benefit of the Cayenne population. Currently, 36 trained staff at the Hôpital Immaculée des Cayes lead group nutrition education in pediatric, maternity, and HIV/Tuberculosis target units.
