Daeyang Luke Hospital is a 300-bed hospital located in Lilongwe district in Central region of Malawi. The hospital serves an immediate rural population of about 100,000 people, but receives referral cases coming from much further away districts. Daeyang Luke Hospital first opened its doors to the public on the 25 February 2008 and registered 346 out patients attendance on the first day. The hospital is a faith based mission hospital and receives funding from the Malawi government, donations from christian organisations and patient contributions. It operates both from the hospital premises and rural health centers.
