Red Cross is next to Panaoti and is located in Nepal. Nepal Red Cross Society is an independent, volunteer-based and nonprofit-humanitarian organization that delivers humanitarian service and support to vulnerable people in an impartial and neutral manner. It came into being on 4 September 1963. Recognizing the ‘Health as a Right’ entrusted by the Constitutional provision of Nepal and appreciating the role of the state in ensuring health services, Nepal Red Cross Society seeks to complement and supplement government efforts in health services. It also adheres to the fundamental principles of the International Red Cross Movement in planning, designing and delivery of health services.
