V.S. Established as Ramechhap Health Center in 2020 BS and upgraded as District Hospital in 2050 BS, Ramechhap Hospital is the only government hospital in the district. Spread over 54 ropanis of land with beautiful and picturesque environment and evergreen climate, the hospital offers a wide range of services to the citizens of the district. It has been providing emergency services, general medical services to the people of Ramechhap and neighboring Sindhuli and Okhaldhunga. The hospital has a 24-hour laboratory, X-ray service with culture facility for quick diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Free from the hospital's own pharmacy, Some of the medicines listed and distributed by the Health Insurance Board are distributed and sold. The hospital is moving forward with the aim of providing continuous quality service by mobilizing skilled experienced doctors and health workers and gathering love and harmony of the common people. At present, District Hospital Ramechhap has a 30-bed isolation ward. The hospital has the required 30 cylinders of oxygen and can be easily supplied from Kathmandu and Kavre on a regular basis.
