The hospital offers a wide range of services to residents of Niamey and the greater region. The National Hospital has two otolaryngologists, two ophthalmologists, five radiologists, three cardiologists, three dermatologists, four obstetricians/gynecologists, five dentists, and a psychiatrist. The National Hospital of Niamey has a theoretical capacity of 1000 beds. The services are grouped into departments: Medicine and Medical Specialties (DM/SM), Surgery and Surgical Specialties (DC/SC), Anesthesia -Resuscitation -Emergencies (DARU), Quality Assurance Department (DAQ), Medical-Technical Support and Equipment Maintenance (DAMTE), Administration and Finance (DAF).
