Haydom Lutheran Hospital is a faith-based, region-level, teaching hospital with 420 beds that provides specialized surgical, medical and diagnostic healthcare services to the people from Mbulu District and the rest of Manyara Region. The hospital was built by the Norwegian Lutheran Mission and is currently managed by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania. The hospital hosts the Haydom School of Nursing.
