Kibuli Muslim Hospital started as a small clinic in 1984 offering outpatient services. It advanced to a nursing home with 59 beds and in 1995 it was launched as a fully operational hospital with 150 beds. It developed over time with different specialties and different training schools: School of Nursing and Wifery launched in 2005, School of Medical Laboratory Technology launched in 2011. These train both diploma and certificate levels.
