The Medical Research Council/Uganda Virus Research Institute and London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine Uganda Research Unit is an internationally recognised centre of excellence. The Unit’s mission is to conduct research to add knowledge and improve the control of infectious and non-communicable diseases (NCDs) in Uganda, Africa, and globally; contribute to the translation of research findings into policy and practice; and build capacity for research in Africa.
