AGA Health Foundation (AngloGold Ashanti Hospital)Facility

AGA Health Foundation is a private for-profit hospital situated in Obuasi, Ashanti, Ghana. The hospital was established on 1st February 1930, and has been known over the years as Ashanti Goldfields Company (AGC) Hospital, Edwin Cade Memorial Hospital and AngloGold Ashanti Hospital. With a capacity of 102 beds, it provides general out-patient services, emergency care, and secondary/tertiary specialist services including ophthalmology, obstetrics and gynecology, dermatology, general surgery, internal medicine, physiotherapy, public health and occupational health. It also offers a wide range of laboratory and imaging investigations including spirometry, audiometry, ECG, and ultrasound scan.
