Jigjiga University (JJU) Meles Zenawi Memorial Referral Hospital, located in Jigjiga City of the Somali Region of Ethiopia, is a 342-bed state-of-the-art hospital founded in 2017. The teaching and referral hospital, associated with Jigjiga University, offers preventative, diagnostic, curative, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services and is the largest modern hospital in eastern Ethiopia. The hospital was renamed in 2018 to JJU Sheikh Hassan Yabare Referral Hospital.
