Established in 2011, Chongwe District Hospital is a first level hospital located 45km east of Lusaka. The Hospital provides immunisations and child counselling services. The Hospital provides short term, long term and permanent family planning services. Other services provided include antenatal care, EMTCT, deliveries of normal and complicated/assisted cases, comprehensive abortion care and emergency surgical interventions for ruptured uterus, ruptured ectopic pregnancy and obstructed labour.
