Port Moresby General Hospital is a government owned hospital located in the capital city of Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. With a capacity of 1200 beds, it is the major referral and teaching hospital in Papua New Guinea. It provides general out-patient care and specialist services in the fields of medicine, general surgery, obstetrics & gynecology, pediatrics, pathology, psychiatry, intensive care, dentistry and maxillofacial surgery, ophthalmology, emergency, otolaryngology, orthopedic surgery, anesthesia, neurosurgery, radiology, and physiotherapy. It is one of the hospitals in the country that have a CT Scanner and MRI Facilities. The hospital boasts an ambulatory clinic,
oncology center, a cardiac diagnostic center, Cath lab and a renal dialysis center.
