The hospital has about 150 beds and provides medical, surgical, pediatric, and obstetric care. There are now about 1,000 deliveries per year. There is also a large outpatient department. Support services include laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, and physiotherapy. In recent years there have usually been three doctors on staff. Surgical, orthopaedic, and gynaecological consultants are available part of the time.
