Phnom Penh Municipal Referral Hospital is a government hospital with 150 beds and 224 staff include multidisciplinary care from outpatient to emergency operation. The hospital-level is CPA3 defined by MoH guidelines. The hospital provides 2 core services (1) obstetric care within /and more than 2200 deliveries a year and (2) ophthalmologic care with around 5600 out-patients a year and around 1900 cases operated mostly cataract cases. Phnom Penh Municipal Referral Hospital is a university hospital providing "on-hand training" to thousands of doctor-nurse-midwife students from different universities in Phnom Penh.
