It is a multispecialty hospital in the of Danlí. Founded in the city of Danlí, department of El Paraíso, in eastern Honduras, initially called "La casa del pueblo" it served as a public dormitory in a building graciously donated to the government by Miss Gabriela Alvarado and located on the opposite corner of the Parroquia Mayor of the "City of the Hills", Danlí and named in honor of this charitable lady.
