The Japanese Bolivian Gastroenterology Institute's (I.G.B.J.) branch in Sucre, Bolivia, is a public hospital specializing in gastroenterology. The I.G.B.J. was conceived as an initiative of reciprocity between the people of Japan and Bolivia and is affiliated with the Agencia de Cooperación Internacional del Japón (JICA). It was founded on April 27, 1979.
