Hospital General Chacaltaya, also known as Hospital Cubano Chacaltaya, is a public hospital formerly aided by the operation of visiting Cuban doctors. According to a 2019 news article, the Cuban doctors were relocated suddenly and the ministry of health re-installed local Bolivian doctors to the hospital in order to continue to serve the community of Chacaltaya, Bolivia with its general medical care services.
