The predecessor of Quang Nam Provincial General Hospital was the military hospital of the old government. After liberation, the hospital was taken over and became the Southern Regional Hospital of Quang Nam - Da Nang province with a scale of 350 beds. Quang Nam Provincial General Hospital was established on January 18, 1997 with a scale of 500 beds. Since 2009, the hospital has continued to grow with a scale of 600 beds, invested in increasingly complete facilities, and increasingly modern equipment.
