Hospital Psiquiátrico de la Caja Nacional de Salud (CNS) is a public, government affiliated community hospital specializing in psychiatry located within the city of La Paz, Bolivia, and situated close to several other hospitals. The National Health Fund covers benefits of services at occupational risk, common risk, maternity, in addition to providing pre-natal and post-natal subsidies, which are made in kind and a payment in money. It provides services to dependent workers, freelancers, volunteers, rentiers, ex-combatants and widows. In 1956, the Insurance of the National Social Security Fund (CNSS) began its activities with the inauguration of medical services, in 1987 modified its name to Caja Nacional de Salud (CNS).
