Da Nang City Eye Hospital was formed and developed through many different stages. It was formerly known as Trachoma Station with the role of directing the regional specialized line in the whole province of Quang Nam Da Nang, then developed into the Provincial Ophthalmology Center, followed by the City Ophthalmology Center and so far the Hospital. Da Nang City Eye, with the functions and duties of a Grade II regional specialized hospital, has been granted a code by the Ministry of Health for continuous training of specialized medical staff. The hospital has a scale of 180 beds with 150 employees.
