University College Hospital (UCH) is a federal government owned tertiary hospital situated in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. With a capacity of 853 bed spaces, the hospital offers a full range of multi-specialty health services in the fields of anesthesia, clinical pharmacology, geriatric medicine, community medicine, dietetics, emergency care, family dentistry, family medicine, hospice and palliative care, internal medicine, neurosurgery, obstetrics and gyenecology, ophthalmology, orthopedics and trauma, otorhinolaryngology, pediatrics, plastic and reconstructive surgery, physiotherapy, psychiatry, radiation oncology, and radiology. The hosptal runs several training programs including school of midwifery, school of nursing, community health officers programme, school of health information management, school of occupational health nursing, perioperative nursing school, medical laboratory scientists education unit, primary health care tutors’ course, environmental health officers tutors course, as well as a residency program.
