The Children's Hospital & The Institute of Child HealthFacility

The Concept of the Children’s Hospital & the Institute of Child Health, Lahore, was presented in the annual meeting of the Pakistan Paediatric Association in 1984, the foundation stone was laid down in 1990, OPD Block was operationalized in May 1995 and the emergency services were started in October 1996. The Children’s Hospital has been providing inpatient services since December 18, 1998. The hospital offers a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, with a full backup of diagnostic services. Child Health is providing post-graduate training to a very large number of doctors in multiple disciplines as well as conducting research projects. The institute also encompasses the School of Nursing and the School of Allied Health Sciences.
