Lagos University Teaching Hospital is a federal government owned tertiary hospital in Idi-Araba, Lagos State, Nigeria. With a capacity of 761 beds and a land mass of ninety-two (92) acres, the premier hospital offers a full range of multispecialty services in diverse fields including surgery, internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, radiology, ophthalmology, and oncology.The hospital is designated a center of excellence in Dentistry. It is renowned for the successful conception and delivery of the first authentic test tube (In-Vitro-Fertilization) baby in Nigeria. It also offers several training programs including schools of nursing, mdwifery, post basic nursing, anesthetic technician, health information management, biomedical engineering, community health officers training school, school of medical and psychiatry social work.
