Noma Children Hospital Sokoto is a public secondary health facility in Mamarun Nufawa, Sokoto State, Nigeria. The hospital was established for the treatment of Noma patients as well as for research, control and prevention of the disease. Services offered include health promotion, mental health support and reconstructive surgery. The hospital also provides treatment of malnutrition and other diseases linked to the development of noma before surgery can begin. Four times a year, a team of highly trained plastic and maxillofacial surgeons, anaesthesiologists and nurses from all over the world arrive at Sokoto Noma Hospital, in Nigeria.
