Taguig-Pateros District HospitalFacility

The Taguig City government continues to prioritize the health of Taguigeños amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The city has three Super Health Centers – one in Barangay North Signal, Barangay Napindan, and another in Barangay Central Bicutan — operating 24 hours a day and seven days a week. These are apart from the 31 health centers that provide free health services to Taguigeños. The local government also launched the telemedicine hotline, which allows residents to consult with doctors and health workers without actually going to a medical facility. This helps limit mobility, which is crucial to preventing the spread of the virus. Under the program, medicines are delivered to the doorsteps of residents; there is also a house-to-house immunization for those who wish to use the service. The city also has numerous quarantine facilities for the isolation of possible COVID-19 patients who cannot self-quarantine at home. These include Taguig Lakeshore, the Persons With Disability (PWD) center, a new building in Katwiran, Ibayo Tipas, a building in the Technological University of the Philippines (TUP) Taguig; the Hagonoy Sports Complex; and the Taguig-Pateros District Hospital. Recently, the Armed Forces of the Philippines and WTA Architecture+Design Studio officially turned over the 73rd and 74th Emergency Quarantine Facilities (EQF) to TPDH. The two EQFs in the hospital can accommodate up to 25 patients with mild to no symptoms. The Taguig government is always finding ways to better ensure the protection of Taguigeños amid this public health emergency.
