Regional Clinical Center provides highly specialized cardiac surgery: surgery for acquired and congenital heart defects, surgery for coronary heart disease, surgery for cardiac arrhythmias, surgery for valve pathology, tumor surgery. It performs 5,200 operations annually. The pediatric cardiac surgery department performs the full range of operations for congenital heart defects according to European standards. Every year, more than 200 patients of all ages, including newborns and premature infants with critical congenital heart disease, need urgent care.
