The Military Hospital as a component of the Military Medical Corps has medical posts throughout the country. The Primary Care Directorate, in charge of medical care in the units, offers a series of preventive programs, health medical care, and combative disposition and troop teaching, which broaden the range of options in terms of medical coverage that can be chosen by members of the units and the general population. It is a self-sustainable hospital built and equipped with the highest quality standards, which incorporates innovative systems of medical gas generation, structured wiring, modern elevators, security system, automated surveillance and hydrosanitary system in accordance with the urban development of the capital, resistant to seismic events. It also has other relevant capabilities that make it an environmentally friendly construction and a reference for the construction of vertical works in the country. The Military Hospital has a capacity of 476 beds, 331 installed in the hospitalization area for the regular use of inpatients, including 64 Intensive Care beds. The hospitalization area has double and single rooms with built-in bathrooms. 66 spacious and modern offices were built in which attention is provided in all specialties.
