Danish Bangladesh Leprosy Mission Hospital (DBLM)Facility

DBLM Hospital offers medical and surgical services for all the complications associated with leprosy, as well as serving those with other health problems in the four districts. The physiotherapy and assistive devices departments are well used by adults and children with disabilities (leprosy and non-leprosy). The hospital, which has a small laboratory, also has a training unit and a guest house. The Leprosy Mission Bangladesh is the country’s premier specialist leprosy treatment and healthcare provider for people affected by leprosy. Its hospital in Nilphamari is the only hospital in the country that provides reconstructive surgery and treatment for the complications of leprosy.
