Shalom Family Medical Center opened in October of 2015 and is staffed by fully licensed medical doctors, as well as 3rd and 4th-year medical students and interns, providing them with the opportunity experience medical care in an international setting, learn tropical medicine, and develop skills in providing care to under-served populations.
