Lenakel Hospital, situated on the western part of Tanna Island, is the provincial referral hospital for TAFEA Province and it focuses mainly on curative services and distribution of medical services throughout the province. It also provides distribution of drugs to TAFEA Outer Island dispensaries and Aid Posts and it also provides much-needed clinical specialists through medical doctors outreach programs to isolated communities on Tanna Island.
