Dédougou Regional Hospital Center (CHR) is public health structure attached to the Ministry of Health. The Dédougou Regional Hospital Center (CHR) covers six provinces (Balé, Banwa, Sourou, Kossi, Mouhoun, Nayala). The Dédougou CHR is a public health establishment whose missions are to diagnose, treat and monitor sick, injured, and pregnant women, taking into account the psychological and socioeconomic aspects of the patients for whom it provides accommodation. In 2007, the CHR had 170 workers in all categories. This staff includes public officials from the State, provincial officials, and contract workers from the hospital. The number of nursing staff is 131.
