Goals: Retrieve malnourished children; Educate mothers about nutrition, health, and hygiene; Follow the children regularly and stably. It is financed by the state, by UNICEF, and, in part, by the Badenyà Project. The children arriving at CREN all have severe malnutrition problems. The treatments they receive follow a national protocol: antibiotic therapies, rehydration, body care, hygiene, and daily nutrition. The number of children hosted by CREN each year is about 400.
