The CHUIR was created from Maurice Gaud, Jules Colombani and Jean Vial Military Hospital, which was built in the 1930s. Each year, the CHUIR welcomes around 1,030,000 patients, and carries out 594,435 consultations, 158,394 admissions (55% of which are outpatient), 11,328 emergency room admissions, 34,170 surgical procedures, 1,937,853 laboratory tests, 212,129 radiology examinations, 58,651 dental procedures and 7,000 deliveries. Multipurpose Consultation Center (CCP) P28 located outside Ibn Rochd Hospital, next to the Emergency Reception Service.
