National Obstetrics Fistula Centre is a national health facility for the treatment, rehabilitation, research, reintegration of and training in obstetric fistula and related reproductive health issues. Situated in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, Nigeria, it offers a robust range of services including repair of obstetric fistulas, uterine prolapse, gynecological surgeries, invitro fertilization, renal dialysis, family planning, physiotherapy, and public health. The centre has provided free treatment of genital fistula for over 2000 women from over twenty states of the federation. It is the designated Centre for training of medical doctors and specialists, nurses and other paramedicals from teaching hospitals and other healthcare facilities on obstetric fistula management.
