Ho Teaching Hospital is a government owned hospital situated in Ho, in the Volta region of Ghana. The 240-bed hospital is the regional and teaching hospital in Ho and the fifth public teaching hospital in Ghana. Originally commisioned in the year 2000 as Volta Regional Hospital, it was upgraded to a teaching hospital in 2019 to serve the University of Health and Allied Sciences. It offers general medical care and a robust range of specialist services in the fields of internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, child health, public health, physiotherapy, ophthalmology, otorhinolaryngology, radiology, dentistry, hematology and blood tansfusion, mental health and anesthesia. The hospital also runs a residency training program.
