The Provincial Hospital Center of Kpalimé (CHP-K)is a public institution operating with financial autonomy. As such, it comes under the supervision of the Ministry of Health and has its own management bodies with a board of directors management at the head of which is a director assisted by a deputy director and a general supervisor and three consultation bodies: the Medical Advisory Commission (CMC), the Hospital Hygiene and Safety Committee and the joint technical committee. The CHP-K has various departments: general medicine, pediatrics, gynecology-obstetrics, surgery with two operating rooms. The hospital contains a total of 18 rooms: 7 sick wards, 3 apartments for nursing auxiliaries, 1 apartment for the waiter, 1 store, 1 prison, 1 dark room, 1 shower, 1 sterilization room and 1 toilet.
