This hospital establishment became the General Reference Hospital of the N'sele Health Zone in April 2000 and the restarting of activities was made possible in 2001 thanks to Italian cooperation through the NGDO NOVAFRONTERA which rehabilitated and equipped 6 buildings that housed the following departments: Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Gynecology-Obstetrics, Surgery, Laboratory, and Emergency.
