Pabna Mental HospitalFacility

A 500-bed Pabna Mental Hospital was established in 1957 on 133.25 acres of land at Hemayetpur in Pabna Sadar Upazila to ensure health care for the mentally ill. The government plans to upgrade the hospital to a modern hospital by constructing a new ten-story building with more than 1500 beds. For routine examination of patients facilities such as X-ray, pathology laboratory, ECG, electroencephalogram (EEG) etc, are available.
