Makoanyane Military Hospital (MMH) was established in 1988 to serve Army personnel and their families. It originated from an Army clinic (established 1980) and evolved into a mini hospital with departments including Pharmacy, Laboratory, X-ray, Counseling, several wards and a Maternity ward. It is manned mostly by soldiers and operates under the Lesotho Defence Force Military Health Service, aligned with Lesotho Standard guidelines.
