Hospital Geral de Ondjiva (HGO) is a hospital in Ondjiva, Cunene, Angola. It was the largest hospital in Cunene province with 250 beds. In October 2020, a fire destroyed the surgery area and the oxygen storage, after which patients were transferred to Hospital Municipal do Cuanhama. In May 2021, construction began on a new general hospital, with an area of about 60,000 square meters and a cost of €52 million. The new facility features 26 blocks, four inpatient units, an equal number of operating theatres, 12 dialysis chairs, a blood bank, a psychiatric unit and eight residences for doctors. It includes departments such as inpatient care, pediatrics, maternity, operating theatre, emergency, microbiology laboratory, CT scanner, pharmacy and waiting rooms.
