Are you a surgical, medical, or dental professional interested in partnering with Access Health Africa?

You can travel to Malawi and work directly with patients and local healthcare providers to make a real difference!

AHA builds complete teams that work in Malawi’s referral hospitals and rural community hospitals to fill a gap left by an understaffed and under resourced healthcare system.
 

AHA will:

• assist volunteers in registering with the Malawi Medical Council prior to departure from your home country.
• provide informational materials on Malawi’s healthcare system, your specific volunteer opportunity, and cultural information.
• provide room and board in our spacious dorm-style house in Area 3 in Lilongwe, Malawi’s capital city.
• provide in-country transportation to and from the airport as well as to and from the project site each day.

To offset project costs, volunteers are asked to donate a pre-determined amount based on the project length and complexity.
