From organization website: Dimbayaa Fertility for Africa is a Gambian-based non-profit supporting fertility services and women's health in The Gambia. Welcomes volunteer OB/GYNs, fertility specialists, and lay supporters. Dimbayaa Fertility for Africa (dimbayaafertilityafrica.com) is a Gambian/international non-profit dedicated to providing affordable, accessible fertility care, reproductive endocrinology, and reproductive health services to underserved Gambian and West African women and couples facing infertility. Sub-Saharan Africa has high rates of secondary infertility (often related to untreated STIs, post-pelvic inflammatory disease, post-puerperal infections) and limited access to fertility evaluation and treatment. Programs include fertility evaluation and diagnosis, ovulation induction, intrauterine insemination (IUI), in vitro fertilization (IVF) referral to South African or international partner centers, male infertility evaluation, sexual and reproductive health education, and patient/family counseling.
