Medical Volunteers for Pediatric Heart Surgeries (Nigeria)Opportunity

Overview

85,000 children suffer yearly from Congenital Heart Disease while less than 112 pediatric open-heart surgeries are performed each year in most Africa countries. Hospitals for Humanity’s pediatric Open-Heart Initiative is a program designed to address this issue.

We wouldn’t be able to achieve our important work without the support of our volunteer medical professionals who have provided free medical services. Without these trained individuals donating their time, it would be impossible for us to support those countries that do not have access to quality healthcare, and we wouldn’t have been able to save as many lives as we have.

We’re currently looking for:

  • Pediatric Intensivist
  • Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (with CV PICU Experience)
  • Pediatric Anesthesiologist (w/Pediatric Open Heart Experience)
  • Pediatric CT Surgeon

If you are interested in volunteering on any of our upcoming Initiatives, please fill the form here.
