From organization website: Global Therapy Group (GTG) has provided free physical therapy and healthcare to Haitians in Port-au-Prince and surrounding communities since 2010. Operates a permanent clinic in Freres community just outside Port-au-Prince, staffed by Haitian therapists and support staff and assisted by volunteer PTs, OTs, and SLPs from around the globe. Volunteers stay for two weeks (or more) — needs licensed PT, PTA, OTs, SLP, RN, physicians, and other medical professionals. Students welcome if accompanied by a professor or licensed therapist for supervision. Translators provided; volunteers stay at the guest house for meals, transportation, and safety.
