From organization website: Emofra Africa is a Ghana-based NGO providing healthcare, education, and community development services. Conducts medical outreaches, health screenings, and community education in underserved Ghanaian communities. Welcomes volunteer healthcare professionals and lay supporters for short-term assignments. Emofra Africa is a Ghanaian non-profit (emofraafrica.org) dedicated to improving health, education, and economic opportunity for underserved Ghanaian communities, particularly women, children, and youth. Operates community health programs, school-based health programs, mobile medical outreaches, education sponsorship, vocational training, and economic empowerment initiatives. Health activities include primary medical care, women's health (maternal and reproductive health), pediatric care, immunizations, nutrition programs, oral health programs, vision screening, mental health awareness, malaria and TB programs, and HIV/AIDS testing and counseling. Partners with Ghana Health Service, schools, faith-based organizations, and community-based organizations. Welcomes Ghanaian and international volunteer physicians, nurses, midwives, dentists, optometrists, public health professionals, social workers, mental health professionals, educators, and lay support volunteers for short-term and longer-term placements.
