Our patients, who are often very sick and in pain, cannot afford to be treated for their various conditions. Two to three times a year, a team of 20-30 volunteers finance their own trip to Honduras to help as many patients as we can.
Our team is composed of a limited number of very specialized and dedicated individuals. Each volunteer is an equal and integral member of the team, and each of us fulfill a specific role. We all depend on each other. Once you make the commitment and are accepted as a member of this team, we are counting on you!!
The mission coordinators will do team assignments for the week. We will take into consideration the needs of the surgeons and the experience of the individual team members. Please let us know if you have any special strengths or particular talents that you will be bringing to the team.
For example, some work better with pediatrics, others have experience with orthopedic, gynecology, ophthalmology, dentistry, etc.
Positions we need filled:
▪ Surgeons
▪ CRNAs
▪ Surgical Assistants
